It's not a big secret that
I am a big BatFan. Not only is he my favorite superhero, he's also one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.
Last week, we had a fun
Justice League-themed party to promote Shakey's Power Party Packages (more info about this here on my blog soon), and
of course I dressed the part by wearing my favorite Batman top and Batman hat I had customized
a couple of years ago. I was called Miss BatGirl lots of times that day. ^_^ After the party, my friends and I went to SM North EDSA and as the escalator to the second floor of The Block went up I was surprised to see a huge exhibit set up there for Batman's 75th Anniversary! I squealed in delight!
Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment, and SM Supermalls worked together to bring us this exhibit. There were a lot of posters, toys, and merchandise on display that I almost went crazy because I didn't know where to start looking!
I wish I have more photos, but the toys were put inside a glass case and I was just using my phone so the reflection on the glass didn't make for good visuals.
If only I have Bruce Wayne's money, I would've bought a piece each from all the items available for sale. There were shirts, jackets, toys, and even lunch boxes and tumblers! But I didn't, so I settled in buying just one top instead. Buying P700 worth of merchandise gets you a limited edition 75 years of Batman cap, while P500 worth of purchase gives you a chance to have the Batmobile Experience and see the very first Batmobile Hologram in the Philippines! I didn't want to leave my friends and make them wait for me so I didn't consider that option anymore.
Nevertheless, Batmobile Experience or not, I really love the vintage comics-inspired graphic top that went home with me!

A closer look at the print |
Not gonna lie, I love receiving gifts in the mail. Even more so when they come bearing the Batman logo! These came the other day:

75 years of Batman commemorative cap, shirt, and mug |

The print on the back of the shirt and mug bears the various logos The Batman has had through the years |
The Batmobile Experience will be in SM North EDSA - The Block Atrium until tomorrow only so make sure to drop by!
For the Caped Crusader's fans who live too far away, don't worry because they will also visit SM BF Paranaque and SM San Lazaro! SM Store and Toy Kingdom will also be having their Batman 75th in-store promos until November 1. ^_~
And now I just want to share some of my favorite Batman loot I have accumulated through the years.

I wish I can say I made it, but no.
The Batman shirt is a gift from my friend Ed. |
Among others I also have
The Batman Begins book, a Batman LEGO, and another shirt with a slightly smaller Batman logo given to me by my friend Anne. Yes, my friends are total enablers.
Are you a BatFan, too? If not,
why not? who's your favorite superhero?
