I really can't think of an appropriate title right now so I think this will do.

I am still saddened by what happened and continuously pray for justice to be served, but we just have to trudge on and keep on moving forward. Right now I would really want to go back to my pink dreamland…

Honestly, I can’t think of anything to write about right now.. I feel spent and tired. I feel a bit upset because of something someone at the office did, but I don’t think the person knows that I was affected. How can some people be so insensitive? Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to readers from the US who might have stumbled on my blog! Enjoy shopping! :)

And since I can’t think of anything to write about, let me just share with you how my day went. Today is one of my favorite days of the month: payday! It is customary in our country that employees receive their salaries on the 15^th and 30^th of each month. Since it is a holiday on Monday, salary was released early. After work I gave myself some me-time and went to the mall to get some toiletries, a birthday gift for my officemate and very good friend Terry’s daughter Steph, and some stuff for thegirlinstiletto for our Blogger Gift Exchange organized by the lovely Mel.

I was able to get some stuff for my Christmas package (but I won’t be posting them yet, I want them to be a surprise ;)) and gifts for Steph:

A Hannah Montana magazine (please don’t tell her I don’t like Miley Cyrus) and a nifty notebook.

Toiletries for myself and then some

Facial masks, a bottle of Caress nail polish in Frosted Silver, and Fashion21 eyeliners in Aqua and Pearl

A beautiful satin tube top I got for only P299.75, what a steal!

Would you believe I got it from the tweens’ department? Our tweens are becoming more and more sexified! Thanks to you Miley Cyrus! Hah!

Ugly Betty: The Book and Ella Enchanted

This has got to be my favorite find at a BookSale in my history of BookSale-ing. That is actually just the box. Inside is this:

Ugly Betty: The Book

It is like a mock copy of MODE, the fashion magazine published by Meade Publications. It is in glossy paper and smells just like a glossy magazine! I love it! And I love Ugly Betty! The show's hilarious and gives an inside view of what it's like to work in a publishing company :)

Each chapter is divided into “magazine sections” and features interviews with the cast and crew, basically it is about how the show is produced. I love behind-the-scenes books like this as much as I love special features of DVDs.

So, that’s how my day went. Busy weekend ahead! Tomorrow I will attend the celebration of Steph’s birthday and on Sunday I will see Recks and she’ll help me look for a present for Dane who will celebrate his birthday on Monday! I’m stumped! Any ideas on what I can give him? x_x

My head throbs and I would really want to crawl into my bed and call it a night.. Sorry for today’s crappy post, I am not in the best of my spirits… Hope I get better soon :D
